Puma Door vs Split Door Road Noise

Has anyone who transitioned from older split doors to Puma doors noticed a reduction in road noise? I am about to begin the swap here shortly.

They are actually in great shape. Alpine White. My issue is that I live in Florida and the "sliding glass upper" gets pretty hot and limits my air flow since they only open 1/2 way. I figured a roll up doors opens the entire window area for increased airflow.

Very cool, I have relayed this too him. I've not ran the same rover with both style doors, but i would be very surprised if there was not an improvement with sound and heat insulation with the puma doors.

The difference is substantial. Went from NAS split doors to new style roll ups and the difference is obvious. If you are building up the doors, don't forget there is a separate molded foam piece which goes behind the door panels.

Follow up: I swapped out my split doors for roll up puma doors. I am happy with the swap. The main reasons are an increased feeling of openness based off the lack of sliding glass framing in my field of view, better air flow, and a more solid feel / less road noise. The only cons I have seen are its harder to lean over and close the other windows if it starts raining, no longer can I just lean over and slide glass. All in all a solid upgrade.

Funny, I actually want to go the other direction. My dd is a 90SW and I like running with tops off. A 90 is much easier to cool down with AC though. Cooling down a 110 on humid days can't be quick or easy I'm sure.
