Propshaft Gators

I've seen some rovers with propshaft gators. Is there any downside to them (assuming they are in good condition)? I would like to put a set on front and back when I get back. I've also seen gators for the swivel balls.

I've used both on Series Rovers without issue. I see no reason for coilers to be any different.
