Prop Shaft UJ lubrication - some questions :)

Gidday,

Fun times under the machine this afternoon.

Front prop shaft:
Front UJ nipple found - all good, greased up and no play
Slider nipple found - greased up, no play
Rear UJ nipple ... not found .... wait ... roll the vehicle so prop is 180 ... um, yeah, not found.
Is this normal for the rear of the front shaft to not have a nipple? (why??) - I cant feel a hole anywhere either...

Rear prop shaft:
Front UJ nipple found - all good, greased up and no play
Slider nipple found - greased up, no play
Rear UJ nipple - hrrrm, ok lube goes in but feels under pressure - when I push in the small nipple bearing it squirts out, indicating pressured air was in there (yeah?). I go to town on the grease gun and get some grease popping out, but only from two of the UJ arms. The other two, I assume, remain 'dry'
What to do about this dry situation? Does this pretty much force taking off the shaft and getting into it circlip pliers and all?

Advice - as always - appreciated, cheers!

If they are not loose or seized they are okay. IME the non greasable quality joints last a lot longer than the greasable ones. They have much better seals.

So the one without a nipple is a closed unit? Seems odd.

I would have thought lubing them maintained that 'not loose or seized' state...

The back pressure on the grease gun concerns me - air correlates with dry.
