Problem's

Scraping sound coming from motor bay when foot is on clutch and big rattle when I turn it off...Only started two days ago! Any ideas anyone?

Clutch release bearing worn. Sign of impending doom. Time to break open the wallet and get it fixed

I had that scenario once and it was one of the bolts that secures the bell housing to the transmission had come loose and was rolling around screwing everything up.

Mine did the same when the throw out bearing was failing. The rattle might be the springs on the clutch disc. The clutch disc pads still had life, but it was time.

Get this done sooner than later if you know what I mean.
