power windows

I have a 97 D90 japan spec with power windowd and they just randomly stopped working. Does anyone have any experience with this. Gonna start with fuses and work my way back.

I dont know crap about Defenders with electric windows but after checking fuses I would see if there is any power going to the door (by using a no contact voltage detector). This will tell you if its in the door or not. Then check the switch...

The wires failed on mine where they enter the door. After checking the fuse. try wiggling the wire bundle while operating the window switch. That was the weak point on mine.
