There is a guy on ebay in the UK that sells whatever plugs you would need for any defender, including the rubber seals, internals, etc. Nice guy and very knowledgeable. I had a later model windshield wiper and he emailed me what I needed off a photo and then instructions on how to connect it. His seller name is landrover-connectors.

Also, I'm about to do this on my defender. I got all the wiring stuff ready to go, just trying to find where I want to put the momentary switch.
Has anyone else tried installing this directly in the door card? I was contemplating this or in my Aschcroft console, however I would like to keep the console as uncluttered as possible.

hmmm. Not sure. He has always been pretty responsive. Are you emailing him directly or going through ebay? I wonder if maybe it is going to his junk box if you are sending it to his email....

You installing it on your original doors with a SPAL kit? I just don't feel like pulling my truck apart to find out it wont work.

I am dying to add power windows and heated seats to my truck.

Do you know the part number for those?

Will the Britpart DA4664 (2002 on) kit work? Or will the regulators not work with the older doors?

I thought the question was where to get female wiring sockets for td5 window switches. The switches are the same as a discovery 2. I cut the sockets out of the center console with a length of wire .
My bad mis-understood the question.
