Correct

The TD5/Puma Defender door looms are not too expensive.

If you want electric windows only, and not central locking as well, there is an 'electric windows only' door loom, which is very affordable -

LR016314

Not quite true.

TD5/Puma Defender electric windows switches and (White 6-way) switch connectors are the same as Discovery-2 and Freelander-1

Discovery-1 switches and switch connectors are different.

Discovery-1, Discovery-2, and Freelander-1 electric window motor connectors are also different.

The Defender electric window motor connectors, look like this -

I can get these connectors; but, they work-out almost as expensive as a complete LR016314 door loom

Not for the window motor connectors.

D2 window motor connectors are Econoseal 070 2-way female, like this -

Yeah, as usual I grabbed a bunch of shit from my junkyard (DII) and didnt seem to have any problem with things fitting but then again that was a couple of years ago. I might have used the Discos motors also? Just remember thinking that it was cool that the parts were all interchangeable. I may have fiddled with swapping plugs around......regardless, I know I didnt buy anything lol. Im in the making shit fit business.
