Powder Coat Match to Alpine White

Morning guys,
I would like to powder coat the 110 steelies on my 97 D-90 as an exact match to the Alpine White but I'm having a problem finding a matching powder.

Has anyone done this and if so do you have a manufacturer & color name?

I've tried searching but haven't anything useful.
Thanks,
Mike

there were a few threads on it. ECR had commented on it a few times in the past as his clients had requested the same thing.

See if searching here helps more.

Josh,
First I'll say thanks . . . and now I'll ask how in the hell do you reply 1 minute after I ask the question?

I gotta say I've never seen "Google Custom Search", I just used the search function on site.
I'll give it a shot now.
Thanks,
Mike

Why?

The wheel is surrounded by a big band of black (tyre) and when on the truck 4 out of 5 are nowhere near the bodywork - so a close color match (especially once you get them dirty) will get you most of the way there.

We work with our powder coating supplier and use their color chips to get as close a match as possible - sorry I don't recall the RAL number but in real world use the match has been well received by all the users. If you want exact then paint them.

Yep, i read that one already.

MyBluett,
I was hoping that someone had done this and had a match. As for why? Why not? If a match is available I'll use it, if not I'll come up with another solution.

Thanks,
Mike

As I recall there is no stock color that is an exact match - a couple that are very close though.

Custom colors available at a cost - contact RAL directly with the paint code.

I thought we used RAL9003 on the sets we have done in the past - and the Alpine white paint code is LRC.456

Theres no way the color on my original Wolfs is a perfect match but you can't tell given the distance between the top and the wheel. On an all white truck it might look slightly different though.

Thanks MyBluett, that's the info I was hoping someone would have!
