Powder Coat Color

What would be the correct Powder Coat Color for the exterior cage? Satin Black or Semi Gloss Black?

Semi gloss is a little "shinier" Satin looks like what you see on most but I'm wondering how much have they faded?

For example an ARB bumper is Semi Gloss which looks shinier than the cage. Looking at the Gurus (ECR) I would say they are using Semi Gloss? Which would lead me to think the cages I've come in contact with are pretty faded after 14+ years in the sun.

If your truck is outside a lot in Oklahoma I would go with the Semi-Gloss so you can fade into the Satin.

I would also request info on the UV inhibitors and see what spec. they are following. Try to see if they do a MIL-Spec UV resistant finish. You might find that there are some shops down by Altus or Sill that might be able to offer a higher end UV finish...

Good Idea. My last PC guy schooled me on PC claiming Dupont Polyester was the best but I have since questioned his standards.
