porting the headers and y pipe
I had to remove my y pipe for some crack welding and noticed that where it connects to the headers the pipes have a narrow internal figure 8 shape.
It looks quite pinched in the middle so I'm wondering if grinding out and maybe polishing the middle part of the 8 would improve performance significantly. In other words: Is it worth the time?
I'm running a 4.6, with an Isky low-medium range cam and I think this change would only benefit the higher RPMs - right?
