Please help identify this piece

Hello D-90'ers,

I could use your help in identifying the piece in the picture below. I found it under my truck this morning.

Background - Just had the head gasket replaced on my 3.9L, and wondering if this is something that they didn't tighten or just trash. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Isaac

I can barely see it - is it a bolt with a blob of Right Stuff on the end?

I have done many head jobs and have never seen a bolt with an eyelet on the end of it on any rover motor. Looks like it came off of a camper or boat.

Sorry for the crappy picture (I'm a crappy photographer). Here are a couple better ones.

It's a solid metal piece, and from the looks of the bottom side (the end with the threads) it might have been longer.

Looks like a bolt for a shackle from a sailboat. Not a rover part.

Yeah, I agree--looks like a pin from a shackle--not a rover part.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. Couldn't see where it would come off the truck (got underneath and poked around). With just having had work done, I wanted to be sure.

Looks good enough quality to be a rover part though....
