Picture of Door Check Strap

Can someone post a pic of the door check strap for 1997 SW doors. I want to make sure the picture in the parts catalog I am looking at is the right one.

Thanks,
Mark

if you are looking at the "check rod" thats the 94 set up - 95 and later goes to the lever that "clicks" open and allows the door to stay open. Sorry no pic.

Check through my pics, there is a pic of the new style door rod in here. It will work with SW or newer ST doors.

Thanks - Kris and Jim - I believe the newer style will work with my doors.

Mark, on the dash side the parts bolt right on. Couldn't be easier. The problem is on the door. The 95's and 97's had a different plastic skin than the 94's. They also have a mounting point for the strap that the 94 doesn't so you will have to fabricate something. See the attached photo of a 95.

(Special thanks to the owner of this truck for indulging the nut who ran up to him in a parking lot asking to take pictures of the door straps on his truck)

Mark - thanks.

Those are the same parts I am looking for - my doors are from a 97, so the bracket is already there and the door skin has the cutout already.

Thanks to all for the replies.
