Passenger door won't unlock

Tried searching and haven't come across this particular situation. I am not able to unlock my passenger door from the inside or from the outside, is it possible to remove the door card with the door locked?
Hopefully there is some magic trick to get the door open?

Can you move the lock mechanism at all, or is it moving and not unlocking?

I can turn the lock with the key about half way and same if I try and pull up the lock inside, won't pull all the way up.

re: door locks

I just replaced the drivers side door latch mechanism on my 95 D110 because I was experiencing the same symptoms ( not latching , not opening , door flying open when turning corners ie: seat belt check etc... ) I found to get the door open when it did not want to un latch I lifted up on the handle until I could get the latch to "pop" then I pulled the door card and swapped out the latch mechanism as well as replacing the striker

( got all the parts from Rovahfarm, good folks there... )

Spray some WD40 in the lock from the outside. Repeat as needed.

Roll the windows down on both doors. On the drivers door, use a pin light and peer down to the latch mechanism inside the door, and push the outside button. Observe what happens. Now do the same for the passengers side. Also try pulling the door release handle (inside) while standing outside the D90. Observe analyse, repeat.
