Arrow Parts Manual

George at RDS advised there existed some online sources where I might obtained a PDF of a parts manual or does someone have?

Trying to get parts is murder - they send wrong so trying to avoid future mishaps.

Thanks!

Follow-up Post:

[Link removed. Links to illegal downloads of copywrited material are prohibited] maybe that will help, I am not sure about copyright infringement etc. so................ I thought Robers North had some of that kinda stuff availible in PDF on thier site somewhere...

Drive to Columbia, photocopy mine, go home happy.

Probably cheaper just to buy one...

'Cause then I'd be screwing George out of Parts Manual sales, and I cant afford to be on George's shit-list. I cant help it, I'm an addict.

Also, that would be a very big PDF...

Eric, No . . . the shop manual -

Its an "Owners" shop manual that they sold me. over a hundred bucks. I'll sell it to ya!

I am seeking the "Parts Book or Manual"

Jim . . . George told me to post re link

Follow-up Post:

In fact, they ought to give you a parts book just for being a customer.. . .

If I owned RN I'd have customer sign up for a user ID, setup read only access to a online parts book and have a per unit click order setup. Just think all the time the reps would save trying to find what you want, the $ in shipping they'd save re incorrect parts sent and all the stuff customer would buy when they were looking through the parts book.

Jim are you talking about this?

http://www.roverconnection.com/Def%20Parts/rcwsmd3.htm

I have one, It's great if you have a UK defender, but it does not cover the 3.9 or the fuel injection system on our trucks (most likely more but I have not looked at it since I got the one from RN). I have the workshop manual from Rovers North and it is the best thing I have been able to find, but I have not looked at one of those CDs yet. And I am not sure on the 97 manual they have listed either. Isn't there some kind of on line source you can register for that allows you to down load the manual for any vehicle MY 96 and up?

As far as parts manuals, my dealership has a pretty good one, I have only been there once, and I had to point out the part I wanted, but I did not order it from them, because it cost more then it did at Rovers North and it was going to take 2 days longer to get.

Sorry, I'm talking about the:

http://www.roverconnection.com/Parts/partscatalog.htm

And Mike - if you are talking about service manuals, I think you need the supplemental publication LRL0164/LRL0004 - you can get one at www.rb.com.

Perhaps I have a different manual. I know I paid 135.00 for it. It clearly states "Defender 90 NAS" "workshop manual" and it has a LR part # but it is not very detailed and to date has yet to cover what I needed to know.

There are no parts #'s referenced as they are at the above noted sites PDF's.

I assume there must be volumes that the techs use, and the links ref posted above [Link removed. Links to illegal downloads of copywrited material are prohibited] and others on the same URL do help to fill in the blanks. < I would DL these and skip the LR manual if its the one I got. It just does not cover enough to justify the cost

Follow-up Post:

Yes Jim . . . thats the one. 60.00 is not bad

So do you have the 60 dollar parts manual? it has exploded diagrams for everything and all the part numbers. How could it not have what you are looking for. Now the workshop manual has no part numbers at all...
