Part numbers for Fuel and Air Filters

I am located in Toronto Canada and i am have a hard time locating basic parts for my 1996 Defender 300TDI. I am hoping to find the part numbers for the Air Filter and the Fuel Filter that i can perhaps order from a auto supply shop.

The fuel filter is a BOSCH 1 457 434 106 and crosses to some VWs, I think the early 80's diesel rabbits.

The air filter is not used in cars, but fairly common in industrial equipment. I'm not a 300TDI guy so don't have the cross reference. Maybe someone else does.

Mann

Graham

I've been able to get the Mann fuel filter for the 300 tdi here in Toronto through a VW parts supplier. Napa also sells a Wixx manufactured filter that works as well. I will post the part numbers tomorrow.

I haven't had any luck locating the air filter. Mann lists a part number on their website but I have been told that it isn't imported. I usually order a few at a time from Rovers North, Atlantic British, etc.

I happened to drive past you on St.Clair some time ago - I waved from a right-hand drive blue 110. Always nice to see other Rover's on the road.

I remember seeing your Truck and the wave. Not many of us in the city. I brought mine over from Spain last November. It took a few years to get permission from my wife, but she now loves the Defender.
I took mine off road a few weeks ago. have a look at the link below. the truck is running great, but watch out for the launguge in the video. I thought I was in trouble.

Found it -

Mann filter #WK842/2 - http://www.wunderkar.ca - This retailer can get them in an afternoon.

Napa Gold filter - 3472 - They are usually in stock - I call ahead.

Hope this helps...

Henry
