It's strange that you need the $ one as both ours are the same age and the cheaper one fitted like a glove on old red. Can't see it being that a V8 is differant in that regards??

Is it the tank end? Maybe the early tanks were different and John's was replaced.

The only thing that I changed was the metal fill pipe off a S3 had to cut down in lenght as I misplaced my expensive fuel cap on the A6 nr cannock, but didn't change the hose. I can still remember seeing it sitting on the fuel pump. Grrr

Hereís a shot of the offending hose. For some reason, the uploader decided to rotate the pic 90 degrees...

Why not phone Trever at rovafarm and ask if he could measure one, or Zack if they have one.

PLM197 is NOT the correct part.

I’ll ret a NTC2338 next.

Edit: Per RN, PLM197 replaced NTC2338. Well bollocks...

------ Follow up post added December 6th, 2017 06:08 PM ------

What is the part number of whatís shown in your pic?

I'm confused. I thought you already determined NTC2338 was wrong and you needed NRC9291.

The change in part number is by your VIN number. Pre and Post VIN 259679. Looks like the tanks changed around that time. Looks like the filler on the tank moved outwards on the later tanks.
