Parking lights and side markers won't turn on

It seems it's always something. Yesterday I turned on my parking lights as I normally do when driving just before dusk. The left side all went on (driver side) but the right side didn't. Also noticed the right side marker lights didn't illuminate either. Only thing I have done lately is replaced one of the side marker lights with a new bulb from RN (fit perfectly and has worked for a week since).

Adding to this is if I put on the Hazard switch all the parking lights and side marker lights go on but the right side that was not going on before and side marker lights all "blink" in unison with the turn signals but the left side do not blink (as they shouldn't).

I should add the turn signals, headlights and brake lights on all sides work through all this.

Thoughts before dig into this?

Not yet not sure what to look for. I assumed (maybe wrong) if the fuse was bad they wouldn't go on at all? But they do go on and "blink" when the hazards are on?

Thanks,
Will

Did you ever get an answer to this? I am experiencing an issue where the right rear red light works when I apply the brakes but does not illuminate when I turn the running/headlights on. Trying to diagnose...

You have at least one bad ground and possibly a burned out fuse.
If you remove the fuse box cover, there is a legend that will show what fuse goes where.

You might want to try ruling out the bulb as the culprit first. I think those are duel-filament bulbs so one or the other filament could burn out but the other still work. Easy test... swap bulbs between the left and right side. If it's the bulb, it won't work on the other side either. If it's the fuse or ground, the working bulb from the other side won't work when you swap it in.

the wiring on the left stop light is too short for me to pull the assembly out all the way to unhook it and swap to the right side....going to just order a new bulb for the right side and see if that fixes it. It so, would be a cheap fix.

That's what I meant in my post. Just move the bulb on the left to the right hand socket, and the bulb on the right to the left and socket. See if they work. That should tell you if the bulb is good or not.

George is suggesting you remove the lens cover and then take both bulbs out and switch them, not swap the entire lamp assemblies.
