Panhard Rod Bushing Question

I searched first I promise.

So I'm swapping out the panhard rod bushing this weekend and don't own a shop manual. Do I need a torque wrench or is it just a "make it tight"-er type bolt.

Thanks in advance!

They MUST be torqued. The inner sleeve will move around and steering will be loose if you don't. I think it is 120 lb-ft.

Might be a little off topic, but after replacing my panhard bushings several times, I installed Rovertym's adjustable panhard rod. A few nice things about their design: 1) you can adjust the length to compensate for geometry changes due to lift, 2) it has a heim joint on the steering box end (should not be susceptible to damage from steering fluid dripping onto it like the rubber bushing is), and 3) it retains the bushing on the diff end so you still have some damped compliance in the system. The truck feels tighter after this change, and there is no noise from the heim. Not sure yet what it does for articulation but should be the same or better.
