Paint code exterior roll cage

Stock 97 D90 exterior roll cage faded.
Does anyone know what stock finish was....
flat, satin, gloss?
Did it come powder-coated?
Attempting to keep stock..uncertain if there is a color code that I can look up to match original black paint color.

For all of the ways to bastardize a stock NAS truck, I would not worry too much about the exact color match of the original roll cage. It appears semi gloss to me.

Here is a 1997 that has sat inside since 2000:

Have vote for gloss to semi-gloss to satin. Interesting. Leaning with semi-gloss or satin

Factory is Satin. This is all easy. Remove cage, bumper, bull bar and I assume your rear bumper looks the same. Take it to a competent powder coater and ask for 20% gloss (satin)

Will look great when done.

I contacted Safety Devices and here is their response.

"Hello Mike,

Thank you for your email. Safety Devices did supply the cage and some ancillary components to all NAS Defenders.

Unfortunately, the finishing process was carried out by an Land Rover nominated contractor. All we know is that the products were e-coated and then powder coated black/grey. I don't have any records indicating the RAL number or gloss levels I am afraid.

Apologies that we couldn't be of more help.

Kind regards

Chris
