Paint brands

My 110 is ready for paint and I'm having trouble getting the color right. We shot a test panel of grasmere green met pearl (2207) with a Valspar single stage paint, but it came out darker than what it should be. Any advice on what other brand to try? I'm trying for a 2016 heritage tribute... thanks

Try PPG pretty sure that is what they use, at least back in the day.

Thanks Brian. At $40 a sample it gets annoying, but I've come this far and I might as well get the color I want.

I used PPG... I ended up spending quite a bit on my paint by the time I was done. 15 years later it has held up very well though.

When i was debating different colours, I got the paint jobber to paint one of the vent flaps (which are removable) and then the other one, a different shade. Once both were painted, I reinstalled them and waited for an overcast day to decide.
