Oxygen Sensor Replacement

I believe I need to replace an oxygen sensor on my 95 Defender. Where should I buy a replacement sensor and how easy/difficult are they to replace?

I've found Amazon to be about the cheapest, especially when you consider the free shipping.
A/T - NTK 25044 - $60
M/T - NTK 25016 - $90

Not sure why NTK lists a different sensor for A/T vs M/T. For the 95 disco they are both the same, the $90 one

Also look for Standard Motor Products SG-130. Need to swap connectors, but sensor is the same.
IIRC NTK makes them all of this type/thread, no matter who's name is stamped on them.

Currently $44 at Rock Auto.

Normally I'd also recommend E-bay, but I know one guy that did so got the wrong sensors.

The problem with Rockauto is they will try to screw you over if the wrong part number is listed. They did me a few years ago and I've never ordered from them again, and never have, even if I have to pay more (had to go to the Wisconsin BBB to get my money back, and that was only after getting insulting letters from the owners).
They are a couple of dollars cheaper, but by time you add shipping, they cost more. If they are a lot cheaper I just tell Advance or O'Reilly and they price match, plus give free shipping.

You don't normally think of Amazon for O2 sensors, but I got my last ones there and had no issues at all and others have as well where I've posted the link, and been happy.

Yes, you can get "universal" O2's for a bit less that you have to splice the connector on to, but I've read very mixed results with them. For me it's worth the extra $15 for no hassle and no worries about them working.
