I'd also be interested in getting an EMS2, maybe in a kit with the senders etc included. We should maybe try to hit Madman up for a group buy?

Their prices are structured with discounts for X number of items, and it does get cheaper as the numbers go up, but I don't recall the discounts being dramatic enough to justify the hassle... We cut might be worth doing just to save on shipping (although the madman guys warned me about triggering a duty by having too many in one shipment --lemme take a look.

Yup, it's about 10%off for five or more--so we'd save $13 on each EMS2 and $15 on each 300tdi sender kit. I kind of feel like it's not worth it to have everyone mail checks / PayPal to a buyer and then have that person have to mail parcels to the rest of the group...

Although if shipping were about the same as a single order ($60ish), we'd potentially save about $50 per person on that, so even after priority mailing everything out, we'd potentially save about $60 a person barring triggering some duty threshold.

I'm inclined to just go it alone, but if there are four films out there who would like to do this, I'd go along to make 5...

Interested parties?

Perhaps he would do a 10 day window to order for a discounted price for D Source members? I would be in for an EMS2 and a 300Tdi kit.

You should start a different thread with an appropriate title, if you want anyone to see this.

Keep in mind... The EMS senders are VDO senders and the EMS will work with any senders. If you already have VDO senders installed, you do not need to buy all the parts. For instance, there would be no need to buy a thermocouple if you already have one.

Ok, lemme ask madman if we can get a discount for a group buy from d-source members without having it all wrapped up as one shipment--if they say yes, I'll start a new thread called "EMS-2 group buy"
