overheat again

I just had my radiator recored, and the temp was fine until I turned the A/C tdoay, the temp guage went up to 3quarter, so I shut of the a/c, the temp guage went down to half within 15mins, and there was a lot heat coming out from the floor panel! What should I do? Help!!
Thankyou

Was the A/C fan coming on properly? Are you running a mechanical or electric fan on the radiator?

That pretty much answers the question. If you were running an aftermarket electric fan, you'd know what he meant.

Have you had the viscous fan clutch checked? Also, was the A/C condenser fan turning? Search the forums for more info.

Holy COW!! I can't believe that happened! You should sell your Defender for $15,000 BELOW market value due to this! NOW! There is no cure! AAARRRGHHH!!!!!

Search, all summer long everyone and their cousin's dog has been overheating. There are only about 7 things that can cause high temps. Search, search, search. Also check out the FAQ. Yes I'm cranky!
