over heating

The fan infront of the radiator between the radiator and grill has stop working. Its causing the engine to overheat. Any suggestions? If I need to replace it, is the a better cooling system to install? Is there any way to check if the fan is dead or it is an electrical problem. Thanks for the help.

The little fan in front of the radiator is for the AC system. It kicks in to assist with the cooling at certain temperatures or load. Check and clean your radiator and make sure your engine fan and fan clutch are working correctly. Fan clutches do go bad.

You could always choose to add electric fans...
