Orphan Wiring

I have a lot of orphan wiring in my D90. Cables and connectors that just ends with nothing plugged in. The one pictures comes out from behind the fuse panel. What does this one belong to? Can I remove it? A big bonus is that water is leaking into the sheath of this cable and into my fuse panel. Brilliant.

Do you have or did your truck previously have A/C?

When I reinstalled the A/C kit in my 97 that had been previously removed by a former owner, several harness connectors were sitting right there waiting to be plugged in. As I recall, they looked a lot like those.

That could be it! Did the NAS 95 hard tops come with AC? The previous owner probably removed it when he installed the Allard Intercooler.
