One shot grease packets cv and housing?

Kind of a simple question but I'm curious if there is enough grease in a "one shot" sachet to pre-lube the cv joint and still have enough left over to fill the rest of the swivel housing? Or should I be using cv grease first on the joint then dumping the whole one shot into the housing after assembly?

Finally is the one shot good for the stub axle roller bearing as well?

This is on a TD5 axle.

On the cv as well? Are you running EP90 in the housing or one shot?

I like the idea of grease, until I consider water ingress & the job it would be to clean it all out & replace with fresh grease.

It's already been cleaned out which wasn't the cleanest job.... The axle is getting new ball joints and they are the new style Teflon ones with the inner seal, so I will be using the one shot.
I just was trying to determine if there was enough quantity to do everything with the sachet.

I think I will lube up the dry cv with cv grease then fire the "one shot" in the housing.

Just give the CV a quick douse with 'One Shot' and then fill the swivel with the balance, the sachet is designed to fill/lube the CV and housing.

FWIW it's just a basic NLGI 00 consistency Li grease with 3%MoS2, nothing trick.

I'm with Tdi Rick on this one.

Just in case you're unaware, turn each wheel full lock at each fill to enable the grease to enter faster and with out overflowing.

All the best

Thanks everyone. It's all rebuilt and filled. Used some cv grease when re-assembling the joint and one shot in the rest.

Oh and yes filled it at full lock.
