One other question on lighting

Is there any way to brighten up the dash lighting on the D90? Mine is pretty dim like everyone else's I am sure. Just wondered if there were any particular bulbs or mods that would make the situation better?

look in the car category for gauge LED bulbs. Only thing is the LEDs are not dimmable.

Thanks! Do you have them in either of your rigs? If so, what is your opinion?

Bill,
Did you replace your gauge lights? If so, what parts numbers work for the speedo, etc?
thanks

Buy green led ones. I tried with white ones but didn´t like the outcome, gauges had a funny looking color at night. Go green!!. If you find white that are really white may work but whites around here are a littlo purple and don´t look right. Of course up there you have much more options and quality variants than here, I see the URL mentioned above and I end up drooling...

I ordered two of the High Power 6-LED Festoon bulbs in Cool White - 7000K 37mm 3710-xHP6 for $ 14.95 to put in the front and rear headliner lights. I am very happy with them and they are really bright. Hurts your eyes to look directly into them. I'm planning to order some for the dash too but would like to know what part numbers fit the Defender dash. If anyone has fit LED successfully in the dash let me know what you bought.
