Older non-ST style locks- won't lock

My 2nd row door won't lock. Works fine otherwise. I took the door card off to figure it out but I can't really future out what I should adjust. If I hold the key in the lock and turn it the lock will almost engage but not stay. Any ideas of what to start messing with?

Alex I have the same exact doors. I am at work but can look at mine when I get home. There are adjustments in the pushrod but if you can't lock, even with the key, I would say the culprit is in the latch itself. Have you tried moving the locking switch on the latch to see if it works? Spray some WD40 of PB Blaster in there to see if it moves easier. Mine is caked with dirt and grease. You may have to have the latch completely rotate on the striker for the lock to work?

So, it appears the issue is internal to the latch and lock. With the key or the door lock I can't get it to fully engage. The rest of the lock/door seems to be great and there isn't any reason to adjust that from what I can tell.

At this point am I better off replacing the latch or is there a way to take the latch itself apart and adjust it internally?

Interesting problem. When I got my 110 pickup, I discovered that I couldn't lock the doors. These are the two piece doors with the recessed, lifting handles. I had a new set of locks intended for my 90, so I installed those. Same problem. Both old and new locks work when the doors are open (or when they aren't installed on the doors), but I haven't been able to make then work when the doors are closed.
