Oil Pressure?

The transport company just delivered the green beast to my house this morning. I cranked it up to drive it into the garage and I noticed that the oil pressure gauge indicated zero. Its one of four things:
Oil pump
Sending unit
Gauge
Wiring

Is there any way to tell if oil is actually flowing without damaging something?

Engine is a 2.5 liter NA diesel

Thanks

If that is an exMOD they typically aren't equipped with an oil pressure gauge. Instead it is an idiot light connected to a switch that is screwed into the oil filter adapter.

Make sure you are looking at an oil pressure gauge and not an oil temperature gauge, which IS often found on exMOD rigs, particularly FFR units.

If there is an owners manual for these, I haven't seen one.

Congrats on the purchase, you'll have a lot of fun with it!

I've got a very similar 90. Where is this oil pressure light, in relation to the other warning lights? I don't see my warning light come on when I turn the key on, so I'm wondering if I don't have a bulb there or maybe the switch is bad.

Perfect! Thanks. I pulled that panel out and swapped the battery/alternator light with the oil light, and the battery light still works and the oil light still doesn't, so I guess I have a little more troubleshooting to do.

I think I did just discover that my 90 might have been used in the desert or something because there is a lot of dust inside the dash. Or maybe that's normal.

I washed about 20 pounds of Iraq out of my truck and chassis. All the switches were covered with grit too.
