Oil Leak from the master seal on a 2.5

Hello, I have a leak from the master seal on my 2.5 diesel. It is a 1984 90 Does anyone know if that is a one or two part seal? Is there something like JB weld that I can put around that area for a temporary fix? Thanks!!

Is the breather clean? That is normally the cause of main seal leaks.

Hmm... I'm not sure. I just got my defender 2 weeks ago and have very limited experience on the mechanical side of things. I took it to a place that works on Landy's yesterday and they put some seals on a few smaller parts including replacing a gasket where the oil filter is but it's still leaking the same amount. That was $264 bucks so I'm trying to keep up with maintenance but I dont want to just spend money without results. I will have them check the breather monday though. Would that help the leaking, or just be the probable cause for why it got to the point of why it was leaking? Thanks for your response

Well if you leaking all over it maybe just an old or bad seal as well. Breather comes out the side of the block i think on that engine with a rubber hose that connects it to the intake or intake manifold
