I'm planning on taking mine out some time in the next month. I read another post where someone had done it and been running like that for some time without problems. Plus he mentioned that the newer trucks don't have them at all.

I've been to New Mexico and the temperature is pretty comparable to Florida, maybe even hotter in the summer. I don't think humidity has anything to do with overheating so if it worked for Rob I don't see why it wouldn't work for me.

If removing the oil lines caused the truck to run hotter you would see it on the temp guage ,right? If that turns out to be the case I'll get them fixed and put them back on. If you have some reason why this is a bad idea I'd really like to hear it.
