Yep, the LR winch bumper is on our '97 and the "A" bar looks just like that.

And I agree with him! I also think the stock bumper is pretty weak too. IMO - the small bumpers RN sells are a good balance of price, strength and looks.

If you need the upper protection then a Rockware, SG (if they are still around) or the Camel Trophy style RN sells.

I have 95 NAS Defender and this how the mount for that factory brush guard looked.
About 10 years ago it completely rotted through.
