Question Nuked my lighting!

Well there I was-
Installing My stereo in the Mud Counsel the previous owner was kind enough to install in my My 94 D-90 NAS. I Crossed a wire in the bundle for the hazard lights. Now here is what happened-
NO Headlights
NO directionals
NO Power to the Stereo
ARB lockers & compressor down!

So I started to change Relays hoping thatg was the issue! the center Relay below the cab's fuse block between the x2 yellow relays were missing? So I replaced it. then next time I turned the key the Headlights & directionals switch melted! and the fuse box ground melted. Wow i'm lost!

Normally I'm not bad at this! but this this has more cross wiring that the Millennium Falcon!

Case of beer to the hero who figures this one out!

-Michael

Step 1 = http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ca...5&cat=0&page=1

Step 2 = http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ca...6&cat=0&page=2

Step 3 = Unhook all of the other accessories from the Defender lighting system. It can't handle the load. Look into installing a Blue Sea fuse block. http://www2.expeditionexchange.com/f...8&d=1265678632

I really doubt it's a relay.

Go to this site and scroll down about 3/4 of the page, just below the ARB Fridge description. There, you can read the short answer about your problem.

I put one in there thinking one was missing, it also blew everthing including the 30amp ignition under the hood. took out the center relay replaced the 30 amp and all was well

Mike, i called today
directionals won't work if the hazzards are not wired or the fuse to hazzards is blown
