Question NRP exhaust hanger

I am installing an NRP exhaust and I do not have the hanger that is located near the NRP muffler. Does anybody have any pictures of one? Looks like I need to fab one up...

Cheers...

No bailing wire done here...lol

I figure I will use a hose clam/u-bolt set-up. I just need to know how it mounts to the frame.

Cheers...

Cool

Jim,

Thanks. My muffler is longer; it extends about 3 inches past the hanger mount on the frame. Does NRP make different length mufflers? I have it mated with the Land Rover Y-pipe and the tailpipe hanger is attatch. Everything lines up but the muffler hanger. Also, my muffler does not have a hanger welded to the end like yours.

Cheers...

No, it's not new. It was installed on a 1995 D90 with a 3.9L just like mine. Everything lines up but the hanger position for the muffler.

Cheers...

Sounds like you can either shorten the section of pipe forward of the muffler and weld on a hanger where you want it (or get a shop to do this), or make a new mount on the D. Personally I'd hack up the muffler instead of the D. I had to modify the muffler I bought used, and it wasn't too hard (if you have access to a welder).
