No Seats in the Back

Looked at a couple of D90 soft-tops today; neither had seats in the back. Is it possible/what wud the cost be involved in having someone either a put a forward-facing bench or the 4 inward facing seats. Owner of one of the D90's suggested the inward facing with d-rings in the mounts for future baby car seats.

The bench seats occasionally come up for sale on this board, they range from $400-$750 depending on condition and if they come with the hardware. I would go with a bench seat if you plan on putting kids in the back.

If you plan on putting in car seats for kids you have to put a foward facing rear seat! No matter what state you live in you cannot put a car seat on an inward(jump) facing seat. Check the manufactures instructions and I think you will find it is for foward facing only.

Look at the Matercraft rear seat. Much more comfortable than my LR seat.

Mastercraft Seat

Has anyone put this seat in a D90? It says it fits Land Rovers but I wanted to get any input from someone who actually put one in. Does it fit well? Were you happy with it once you put it in?

Absolutely right.

There might be a middle ground though. DAP offers these forward facing jump seats.

If they weren't so pricey, I'd get a pair of these from Exmoor....

Buckon22s?! I am still waiting for my 28in spinner wheels, get it right!

I have the PRP bench seat in the back of mine. They are literally identical to the Mastercraft (have them in front) but are a good bit cheaper. Its a very good fit. I could have actually gone with a wider seat if I didn't have to contend with the airshock mount. I think you could go as wide as 40in. Let me know if you need any further info.

Seats

As nice as those Exmoor seats are, the price is equally painful. An additional problem is that one user on this board has been waiting almost 6 months for his with repeated "any day" responses from the company.

Does anyone have those DAP seats? The fold up feature is nice for space.
