Newer LR wheels on 85' 110?

I am having trouble finding a newer model year wheel for my 1985 110 (v8). I have a set with the correct bolt pattern, but I am assuming it is part of the axel that sticks out and does not allow the rim to fit on. The set I have is pre-98' so it has the pocketed area on the inside, but they still won't go on. Any advice?

Most folks end up having to install wheel spacers -- they pop up for sale on here about once a month.

Thanks! Do you know off hand how thick the spacers are? Is there a general thickness that works to get the clearance needed?

I put on wheel spacers (that I got from a for sale post on here) on my 110, and the wheels fit on just fine. Enables you to put on more aggressive (better) tires.

An 85 should have rear drums, I've been keeping an eye out for a set of spacers as well lol

The spacers we sell are 30mm which are designed for early 110s with rear drums. I'm guessing you have rear drums like Bill said unless it has had a conversion.

I have the EZ Accessories 1.5" spacers that a lot of folks here have used and they've been fine so far. They're pretty inexpensive and not much more new than most people sell them used. If you want to run center caps all the way around you'll need them for the rear axle also
