New to me D90 love it but need help...not starting

Hello all new to the forums and new to rovers. I always wanted a D90 found a nice 95 in good shape just over a 100k on it. One of the issues I knew about it when buying was an exhaust leak at the header and a pretty substational one at that. So I ordered new headers and temporarily patched the leak till i could get the headers on. Fast forward to today and we've got a no go on starting.
-I can hear the fuel pump and smell fuel in the exhaust
-I am getting spark from the coil to the distributor but I don't think I'm getting it past there...

Advice, I'm kind of stuck...

Thanks look forward to being on the forum.
