New to me D90

I need to pick up a non running D90 in Baltimore, Maryland. And the previous owner needs me to get it off his property soon.

The shippers are dragging their feet and I am exploring other avenues. Anyone got any ideas for me? Hate to have it dissapear on me, with a risky shipper, it was to hard to find this one.

TIA

Jim Pendleton

Hey Pendy,

Drop me an e-mail, and I will see what I can do to help you. I'm in the Baltimore area, the non-running part is what may be the hang-up, but drop me a line and I will do what I can to help you out.

new d90

I hope this isnt the 84 lhd euro truck with basket case transmission lying in the back, that was sitting up on Westminster Pike. The interior looked like someone had kenneled a pack of wolves in there, the frame was a patchwork quilt and there wasn't a straight panel on the truck or a title to go with it. That truck has been on ebay several times and each time when the buyer comes to pick it up they run away.

If it is call me asap @ 410-200-4386.

Guess theres a new pack of wolves moving into it now. Its RHD. Got a powerstroke 2.8l and new frame for it. She will be legal in another year. Just have to drive with my lights off like Paris until then.

JP
I'll call to hear the gossip, thanks

Thanks Scott. I'd pay to have it hauled to someone I knows location to hold until I can get it. the shippers quotes are to high so far. shouldn't have driveshafts installed now so I may just flat tow it back.

The guy is moving and needs it moved this next week.

Take Care
JP

Thats the one- my bad on the lhd/rhd. I saw this one about a year and a half ago. The same guy had a realy rough 200tdi 130 crew cab that was for sale on ebay and my brother was lusting after it so I went and looked at both. I was in the market for a project 90 & I looked at this one and the number of patches on the frame was amazing. The lack of title was my main problem but I am sure you can use parts from more than five vehicles and get something issued. Wish I could offer storage here but there are already two non runners out in the driveway.

I hear you on the non runners. I hope to guinea pig it as a 25 yr old compliant. I'll keep the old frame around for inspection.

How many wolves do you think were living in there. I probably need to bring some dog food for them.

yeah, let me know. I've got a trailer to go get it and space for you for a while if you still need it. I just miss having a defender around the house.

Pendy,

Feel like I owe you dinner. Lets get together and eat some crabs or such when you come out.

It's not a problem Jim (my wife may have a different opinion when she sees it, but she already said no problem when I ran it by her), now I just need to get the seller to call me back so we can actually arrange the move..

Pendy,

I am on vacation the June 2-3 weekend. When you say 'first' weekend, are you refering to that one or the next one? We are just returning from Vacation Friday June 8th.

If the 9-10 weekend, is your weekend - depending on our schedule - I would love to meet you - or join you guys for the crabs.........

Ask Trevor, it's been at his shop for months!

It's black now, and it's getting a 4.6, and I've got serious rover-withdrawal.
