Badger is by far superior to anything else you can buy.

All depends on if you want a soft top this summer or next.

Badger normally has a waiting list but it is the top to have and well worth the wait.

I would hope for summer 2014, but expect summer 2015. It's worth the wait, but you will wait.

Hey there, Badger is a great roof and in books just a tad over priced.. went the Rovers North route. Never had a problem with it. Although buddies tell me I should have gotten a Badger I still feel I made the right, better and more economical choice.

Good luck, it covers the truck and keeps you dry, all you need! LOL

Are you talking about the RN top that Badger designed?

RN is basically the same price as a badger. I have had both (and still run the RN because the gentleman who bought my 95 chicky insisted on having the badger). The RN is a badger clone, but the stitching, fit and material is just not as nice. Don't get me wrong, the RN is a nice top and vastly superior to the besttop, but badger is worth whatever small marginal cost difference there is -- and I don't think there is one.

How are the Exmoor ones these days?

I have a Badger, and its custom as its like a Badger II.5

Problem was as mentioned, took almost a year to get, didnt fit right at all, had to send it back and took another 5 mos to get.

And I have to replace it now as the material used stretched out. Im hoping Chris can take out some material or something so it can be useable.

You would think for the price it wouldnt have stretched, but Chris says he no longer uses that material. Lucky me.

I will probably try Exmoor next time just so I dont have to wait.

I think Exmoortrimusa IS Safari, the same address in Orlando.
Though it says RN also sells them

http://www.exmoortrimusa.com/model/d.../nas-full-top/

I imagine Badger is still probably "better", but by how much I dont know.

Id like someone to compare them side by side.

My Badger is unique as it can be a full top or a surrey. But Chris didnt have the option of alpine windows nor roll up side windows. When I send it back, I will press to see if he will add zippers there. You can roll up the whole side or remove them, but having the option to roll up just the windows is important to me.

Originally he made the rear window w/o zippers, and when I sent it back he changed that. I told him it was way to inconvenient to have to undo the whole back to get to the rear. He made it more like a series top, smaller windows etc. Not really what I asked for.

Its also fraying at the top corners where it rounds the roll bars.

The top only was outside in the elements maybe 3 years total, and has since been garaged. So the design wasnt so bad but the material didnt last at all.

Oh and the stitching for the buckles all deteriorated.... the buckles rusted... and ......

Though I'll address much of the misinformation mentioned earlier in this thread regarding the RN NAS top tomorrow, I'd like to note that while we do not market ETUSA items, we can certainly source them all. The Exmoor 110 hood is not an ETUSA item, they can be found here: http://landroverparts.roversnorth.co...ode=124&key=mr

+1

The Badgers have a cult-like following around here. I went the RN route. I really like it, fit is very good, quality seems great to me. I've never had a Badger so I can't compare directly but I'm not sure in which areas the Badger would have significantly higher quality than the RN top I have? There is no part of the top that screams poor quality to my eyes.

And the biggest thing....... I had it on the truck 2 days after ordering. I just couldn't wait 6 months to a year.
