Absolutley nothing...In fact if you have a RTC 7788 and the stock speaker covers, you should send them to me so I can dispose of them properly....

OK, here's the radio I decided to go with.
It's a AM/FM/WB 160watts, 4 channels, AUX and USB connector on the face. Designed for farm equipment.

Prestige PTR440 (there is also a PTR425 available) 40= 40 watts/channel 25=25 watts.

Nice choice. Mine has started to blow. If it is raining or very humid it won't pick up any signal other than the weather band. This is after I dumped $250 at Roverville. His fix last two weeks.

Please let us know how the conversion goes.

Not to hijack but my question does pertain to original post. Am I to understand that there is a separate antenna for the weather band for all radios with WB function?

Thanks much!

I don't think so??
I removed a 91 RRC radio with WB yesterday and there was only one antenna hookup.

Yikes, Clay.
I would hope there's at least a 2 week *warranty* period on that kind of work.
