Brand new? Hardly. But still an option for some.

They are 2600$ at RN + shipping + customs into Canada. The one on ebay is 900GBP minus 20% (VAT) + shipping + customs. I tough it was a good deal for a new bulkhead.

Agree they are not new but rebuilt in the same way that any BH is after all the years of crud and rust. Then they are galvanized. Seen two of their BH, one going on my build.

These bulkheads are getting hard to come by. If you are lucky you might be able to source a good lightly used one here in the States for around $1,000.00 but those deals are few and far between. This is a good deal on one if you could get it into a Container somebody is shipping over.

Does not look like a normal factory LHD bulkhead maybe a RHD one that was converted to LHD? It has a cutout on both sides for the heater you can see where the TD5 style A/C hole for RHD has a patch welded over it as well and hard to see from the pics but looks like it might have had the cutouts in the footwell as well.

Maybe that is normal for a wolf but not the factory standard LHD 300tdi bulkhead as far as I know.

I would think it would be fine but just wanted to point it out so you were aware.

The RN flyer had them for 1600 or 1800.

Crating, shipping and custom all cost big bucks. I did it but that was the only way to get a galvy BH. Generally for large heavy items it pays to buy locally.

It works for me to get it from the UK. I would still have to pay customs from RN, even if I drive there (2.5 hours from me) it's another 200$ of gas in lieu of shipping. If I get it shipped in someone's contained to the US, it would be a bit complicated. I'm going to see about getting it galvanized here or use something like por15.

In the spring, it's going to go on a galvanized frame with a new or rebuilt 300TDI and new or rebuilt disco axles, which are plentiful. I was considering DANA 60's or something like it, but I think I will stick with LR axles which are solid enough. I also looked at Isuzu and other diesels, but here again, I think I should stay with LR to be closer to original. I have kept all the original truck parts I replaced, just in case I ever do have to sell it so it can (theoretically) be returned to stock.

You want to get it Hot Dipped Galvanized if you can. The galvanization will get in between the panels and protect those areas better. I had one done in Ashland, VA and it only cost me $250.00. They did a great job.

The Isuzu 4BD1 and 4BD1T were factry fit to many stage 1 and 110s in AUS.

Really hard to go wrong with the 4BD1T.

X2 on the galv.
