New Fuel Tank

So I ordered a new (Proline) fuel tank for my 110. Figured I would replace the old one since it was 20 years old and leaked when completely full. Question is what, if any protective coating should be applied to the metal tank once it arrives?

I put waxoyl between the skid plate and the tank, but I am running the stock tank.

Red kote

It's an internal sealant prevents rust waxoyl on exterior or Por 15 chassis paint works as well. You will néed to prime it first.
