new d90 50th ed. owner, questions with pics

Hi guys, sorry if these seem silly:

1. I'd like to fix the clear LED rear lights to the back, SVX style, but wonder is it possible with the square one on either side?

2. Any idea what's going on in this engine pic?

3. Is the odometer on a trip function? Not sure what the E on left side means.

Good things are no rust and no check engine lights, looking forward to ownership :-)

The rear fog lamp and back up light are attached by just 2 screws each with a small hole in the middle. Easy to change out.
Is that a JB weld type of material or something melted? I would try to remove to see what it looks like underneath.
Have you tried to clear the reading? Can you get it to read anything else? Certainly it has more than 567 KM's on the truck.

Yes the Od is on the "t" trip function...it's a t not an e....if I'm reading your question correctly. Hit the black button above the KM to switch over.

The larger SVX or NAS lights are 95mm diameter, so, you can see how much you may need to move the boxy fog / reverse. Frankly, I really think the round fog/ reverse lights look better too..if you do not want to spring for LED, the standard ones are cheap and look just as good.

Congrats on the purchase. Did it come with an owner's manual and service records?

Appreciate the answers guys, yea it looks like someone patched something, not sure what yet. Thought the E looked funny, t makes more sense for trip, I haven't tried to press the button but am sure it works. Found an owners manual online I've been reading!
