need some help with A/C

Been lurking for awhile, love this site, finally pulled the trigger and bought 1986 D-90, 300tdi, it was imported 2 months ago, still having problems with DMV, but that's another story for another time.
It did not have A/C and I live in Florida and A/C is a must. I ordered A/C from Safari and took it to my machanic. I like to work on my own cars but don't have the time. The A/C has a 5 prong plug, but the rover does not have a place to plug it in.
What is the best way to fix this? Rewire the Rover with a new harness or any other ideas, I know someone on this site has an answer,

Thanks in advance.
Eric

find an auto electrician ... it's highly unlikely a UK defender would have AC in 86 ... i doubt it was even an option. This will likely need custom install.

AC came in around 84. Same system as NAS 110.

Yeah but ac in the UK is as rare as rocking horse shit. I had a friend who had it in a 911 turbo in the late 80's and that was about the only person I knew that had AC at that time. It's just not needed ...

Thanks for the advice. I'm please to say the A/C unit from Safari went in very nicely. It works like a charm. It's 80o here today and was nice and cold inside the D90.

Thanks again
