need new break pads

I need new (Brake )pads up front should I go Genuine or some other way? I can get aftermarket at the auto Zone for anywhere from $50-$90. What is the opinion of the group? I know that is a loaded question.\
thanks in advance

Genuine or they squeak. Ferodo is ok too as it is usually the OEM.
