Need measurement of tailshaft and stuff...

Ok trying to connect an LT230 to a NP435, yes not too brilliant but it's worth a try anyway.
The Ford gearbox has a big inch and a quarter shaft with (i think) 28 splines. Not that this is of any importance because it would be no big thing to weld on an R380 or 77 type tail/spud shaft to the output shaft. A short adapter plate and Bob's your uncle.
Alternately I wonder what the connection is between a regular Rover gearbox and transfer case because if it is close to a Dana 300, it would be an off-the-shelf thing to get the adapter plate.
It looks like the input gear takes a regular old 'murrican ten spline output shaft, but it's way stuck inside the case so the shaft has to be what, 6 inches or so to reach all the way in there?
I ask if anyone knows the actual size of the r380 output shaft both in diameter, stickout and spline count. It would sure help me. Thanks
