Need help indentifying wires related to distributor & coil

Hi all. Thanks in advance for your help. I have a good mechanic friend working on the wiring of my 94 D90's distributor, coil, etc.

He is having trouble identifying these wires. See photos. Also see video but disregard our banter...too many beers.

PS: my buddy is from Kosovo, thus the accent. Coincidentally, tons of Defenders out there, so he's worked on them before.

http://youtu.be/uoWLbWBRN7Y

I can send better res photos if needed.

Thanks again!

I THINK the first photo is showing the wire which goes back to the ECU denoting RPM. At least that's what it looks like. Usually it comes off the coil.

Still pretty shitty but the first one looks like it goes to the ECU, second and third appear to be the same wire(?) and should go back to the ignition module on the side of the dizzy.

You suck at posting photos. Pro tip: upload them to imgur or Flickr and use the little yellow button in the message editor that has a mountain and a sun on it to directly include the photo in your post. When you upload them as attachments to this site, vbulletin reduces the quality and size so much that it looks like you took the photo with a potato.

Just keep in mind those are my best guesses knowing the standard setup and having replaced it. Who knows how he wired in your new Mallory. But the coil should have some pulse output for RPM.

Registry
Step 1, download a workshop manual and look at a wiring schematic to reference the wire colors.

Step 2, get a camera newer than 1995. Tiniest photos ever posted.

Thanks "Pro". Check out the new posted photos. If we need better, I'll take your advice.

LOL! Thanks! It's actually an iPhone 5s. I reduced the size to 100kb as I thought that was the rule around here.

Any idea how I can get a copy of that manual? 94 D-90 NAS. Thanks again!

Nope, still sucking. Resolution is the issue not compression. While Chris was being kind of a dick, he's still right.

The yellow mountain/sun option didn't work for me. I'm not that bright.
