Need a mechanic in the UK- HP9 area

Guys:

In need of a recommendation or source for a mechanic in the UK near Beaconsfield (HP9 1BP). My friends have been tending to my truck while waiting to export it next month and now it's taken to not starting.

From what they've described it sounds like it's a starter or bendix problem. Was running fine and then would intermittently not want to crank. Now won't crank at all.

They're not mechanically inclined so we're going to have to find someone to come round their place and sort it.

Any referrals by the UK members would be greatly appreciated. Of course, it should not be hard to find someone to fix a Land Rover in England. At least one would think so.

Cheers,

CARL

Sorry, nowhere near me. I'll post a link to this thread on some of the other forums I'm on, see if anyone chimes in.

I think the parts supply company Dingocroft (http://www.dingocroft.co.uk/) are based down the road in High Wycombe, might be worth getting in touch with them to see if they can recommend a good local LR mechanic. Dingocroft only deal with parts supply as far as I know, but they should know local folks that do repairs.

I found them as well and thought the same thing. Got to be someone nearby they know and at least they're a nearby source for parts.

Cheers,
