I've received a new cap for my Mantec Snorkel thanks to a fello D-Source member :-) My question is how am I supposed to attach the cap to the tube? See below...I have rigged it with some plumbing tube from Home Depot and double hose clamp it. It is not very eye appealing. Thanks for the help!

Glad it showed up in one up damaged piece. I drilled all the way thru and secured mine with a 3 1/2" long bolt and a nylock nut.

This is the correct head for the snorkel. Exact one it came with. I lost the original off-roading last year and forgot how it used to attach.

Ok so you had a Mantec head, does the head you have now have slots cut into the tube as a exhaust pipe?

Mine a rip Mantec so the tubing is a bit smaller, but yours should still have the same type fitting

Yep! I have the slots just like that. I need that clamp! It seems like I'm going to really have to crank down on that thing to bend it small enough to fit on the pipe.

Cut a piece of that sewer pipe coupling into a ring and use that to take up the gap

Grover that's it! Finally, however I ended up using a u-bolt and it doesn't look too bad and bent the shit out of the new cap fitting it :-/z Once I trim the remaining threads and put a coat of black paint on the clamp I'll post pics.
