NAS Defrost Trunion

Converting a '93 NAS110 HVAC system to later NAS style. I am looking for pics of how the defrost diverter cable attaches to a "trunion" noted in the workshop manual.

The NAS110 has flat bar coming up through the lower dash and it appears I may be missing this "trunion" piece.

If you are referring to the lower dash you will have to relocate cable. Not 100% sure what you are asking. I am currently converting a 93 dash to a vented dash set up for a Soft top conversion. I am happy to take some pictures for you.

I am asking what exactly does the the new/NAS defrost cable attach to. It's clearly different than the '93 NAS HVAC setup.

No, NAS110 dash is gone and I have installed the normal 94-97 dash pieces and heater box. The only cable I can't figure out is the defrost diverter - where it attaches in/under the dash.

Ok, gotcha!!! You have to relocate it by drilling another hole in the lower dash. I hope your dash is still disassembled. The lower vent control is mounted in a different location on the 93 for the air diverted. You will need to modify the diverted lever to make it work. I'll go take a pic of what you need. Crap, never mind the dash at the house doesn't have the pc that I am referring to. Sorry, I can take a pic on Monday at the shop but that probably doesn't help you. The one key is to drill the hole big enough for the cable to go through but small enough not to let the cable housing pass through.
